From a rolling boil to a slow simmer
Today I reached the "Eh, it's good enough" stage of developing my developer website. It comes (almost) complete with a home page, about page, blog and posts, even a contact page. It's functional, it's just still not quite "finished". I still have plenty more I'd like to do with it. I've been working on this project tirelessly for 2 weeks straight and I think it's time I take a little break. I'm not talking about taking a break from coding necessarily, but mainly a break from building my portfolio.
I actually want to start building project that can then be added to my portfolio. All my projects so far are from tutorials or what I call scratchpad projects. There's nothing really portfolio worthy just yet so I decided to leave that part of my site unfinished until I have something for it. In the meantime, I'll be sure to blog about my experiences while building my projects that way you get a sneak preview of what's to come.
